The West Virginia House of Delegates is looking to hire temporary support staff to assist with the 2025 legislative session, from Jan. 6, 2025 – April 12, 2025The duties and responsibilities will vary, based on position. Most positions are administrative and clerical support jobs that may include maintaining calendars and appointments, taking detailed notes, performing filing and records maintenance, and drafting correspondence.
All applicants should have an interest in public service, be willing to work the long, irregular hours and some weekends common to a legislative session and be able to maintain excellent customer service to lawmakers, staff, and the public with a positive and professional demeanor while working in a fast-paced office environment.
